How the price is set

  • Pages. The page count comes from your proof, so the price you pay matches the book you approved. A printed book can have 32 to 532 pages.
  • Every copy is the same book. All books are hardcover and printed in full colour. The proof's Print specifications lists the size, paper and binding.
  • Where it's printed. Each book is printed in the country it's going to: Australia, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States. Costs differ from country to country, so prices differ too. The quality is the same everywhere.

Print credits

A print credit is worth the price of the shortest book, US$59.99. It pays for a copy of a book in the first price band. For a longer book, the credit covers that amount and you pay the rest. See Print credits for how you earn and buy credits.
