I can't sign in
What to do if Keepsake won't let you sign in: a password that doesn't match, a forgotten password, an expired magic link, or an email that doesn't arrive.
Updated
If Keepsake won't let you sign in, your stories are safe. One of these will usually get you back in.
It says your email and password don't match
Check the email for typos, and that Caps Lock is off. If you're not sure of your password, sign in with a magic link instead: enter your email, leave the password empty and choose Sign in with Magic Link. Or choose Forgot password? to set a new one. See Sign in.
It can't find an account with that email
You may have signed up with a different address, or the one your invitation was sent to. Try the other emails you use. If you were invited and never accepted, open the invitation email and use its link. See Join a project you've been invited to.
The magic link or reset link has expired
Links and codes work once, for 30 minutes. Go back to keepsakeproject.co/login and ask for a new one. Use the newest email, not an older one.
The email doesn't arrive
- Look in your spam, junk or promotions folder.
- Wait a minute, then choose Send a new code or Send it again.
- Check the address you typed. If you changed your email recently, use the new one.
It says there have been too many tries
Wait a minute, then try again. This stops anyone guessing passwords.
Still stuck?
Email support@keepsakeproject.co and include:
- The email address you signed up with, and any other address you might have used
- What the sign-in page says, word for word, or a screenshot
- Whether you're on a phone or a computer
