A Book tab in every project

Your book no longer waits at the end. It sits in its own tab from the first story, with volumes, reprints, Story by credits, a chat for every project and a Time Machine for every story.

    New

    • Book tab: You can now set your book's title, colour, cover and chapters while the stories are still coming in.
    • Reprints: You can now order more copies of any book you've printed, or reprint it with everything added since.
    • Volumes: You can now carry on in Volume 2 when a book is full or printed.
    • Story by credits: You can now credit a story to the person who told it.
    • Project chat: Every project now has a chat for everyone in it, beside the stories.
    • Time Machine: You can now step back through earlier versions of a story and restore one.

    • Editor: Photos you add now go after the line you're on, and no longer land inside a quote.
    • Invitations: Accepting an invitation or a gift now shows you the project before you sign up.
    • Settings: Account and project settings are reorganised into clearer sections.

    Notifications when family write

Keepsake should feel less like checking an empty room and more like hearing someone come home. This one helps with that.

    New

    • Family activity notifications: You can now get a note when someone starts or finishes a story, or finishes a chapter.
    • Friendlier lost pages: A link that goes nowhere now lands on a clear page with ways back.

    Improvements and fixes

    • Errors: When something goes wrong, the message is clearer and easier to send me.
  4. 1.5Release

    Pinned and personal questions

Most stories start with a question, so this one is about getting the right question to the right person.

    New

    • Ask someone specific: You can now pick the people a question is for, and only they'll see it.

    Improvements and fixes

    • Projects: Projects open noticeably faster, especially ones with lots of stories.
    • Streaks: Streaks now follow your own time zone and the time you actually spend writing.
    • Streaks: Fixed a first streak not starting at day one.
